Fulcrum3D has today supplied one of it’s state-of-the-art SodarF3D™ to Embark, a not-for-profit organisation promoting community owned renewable energy projects in NSW.
The unit will be providing valuable wind speed and direction information for community wind farm proposals in NSW. Initially, the SodarF3D will be deployed for community group New England Wind and is expected to be moved between sites to assist in determining the wind resource available and viability of community projects at each location.
Director of Fulcrum3D, Andrew Durran said that “Fulcrum3D is excited to provide our world leading technology to community groups in NSW. The information that our units record will add significantly to the knowledge of the wind conditions wherever it is deployed and we look forward to contributing to the development of community renewable energy projects throughout Australia”.
Fulcrum3D is supporting the community initiative by providing discounted pricing and assistance in kind.
